lots of visitors = one spoiled baby

Asher got a ton of attention this weekend!

We had one visitor after another and had such a great time!   It all started Saturday morning with a visit from my sister, Erin and her hubby, Ryan.  Asher just adores his Aunt Erin and Uncle Ryan!

They drove down from Harrisburg to spend the weekend and see our new place.  I can't believe they are only 2 hours and 15 minutes away!  That might sounds far to some lucky people who live in the same town as their extended family, but believe me, this is the closest we've ever been!

On Saturday we played it easy and just hung around the house lovin' up on Asher.  After he hit the hay for the night the grown-ups ordered Chinese food {dairy-free, woohoo!} and watched Sherlock Holmes.  If you can believe it, this is the first movie I've seen in 5 months.  Must get back into reality soon.

Uncle Ryan had a softball game on Sunday afternoon, so after a relaxing morning of coffee and baby time they were on their way.  We were sad to see them go, but so happy they made the trip.  Now that we know how easy it is to get and there we'll be seeing them a lot more often!

On Sunday afternoon we got a very special visit from a dear friend of mine, Jessica and her hubby, Felix!  Jess was one of my bridesmaids and a friend that I met at Bucknell.  She and Felix just celebrated their first wedding anniversary last month!  They were visiting her sister and swung by to see us on their way out of town.  I'm so glad Asher got to meet them both -- we'll be coming to see you guys soon too!

Asher just lapped up all the attention this weekend.  He loves to be held and talked to.  This boy was in seventh heaven, for sure.  :o)

Luckily his Grandma and Grandpa are coming to visit on Tuesday or he'd be going through some serious withdrawl!  We'll have to detox after they leave.

Anyone else who wants to visit this cutie...come on over!

  3. What a lucky boy!! All of my family is in NY. Not very far but far enough. I'm hoping we can make it up there for Christmas so Jack can meet everyone. If not, then definitely sometime next year.

And horray for being able to eat Chinese food!! :)
