Erin and I are only two years apart, so we spent lots of time together growing up. Even though it's been 10 years since I graduated from high school and officially stopped living with her full time sometimes it still feels weird not seeing her every day.
There are some things that bond you to a person, regardless of whether you're related or not. Add in a very similar looking appearance and there's really no choice but to be close.
You might be wondering what some of these things are. In my book they include:
Going to the zoo
{and stopping her from licking the sheep that licked her}
Rocking some pretty serious mullets at formal occasions
Being teenagers at the same time
Having the same Dad
Erin has been there for all of my big life moments.
She's the best Aunt a baby boy could hope for.
She can appreciate a new couch and loves ice cream.
If she wasn't already married to a great guy this would totally be turning into a personals ad.
Alas, men of the internet, she's taken.
