Using the word party might be a bit of an exaggeration since it was just the 5 of us, plus Asher's friend Olivia and her parents - but we had fun!
And our snacks were delicious, if I do say so myself. :-)
Asher's big surprise was a new train set and table.
My favorite part? The rolling bins under the table. More storage - yay!
Asher loves it! He loves anything Chuggington, so we knew this would be a winner.
Drew and I got him a sit-n-spin that we think will be good for his core strength building. As of right now he isn't quite sure how to get on it and is pretty scared of the whole contraption. That's ok with me. It's good to have some toys in the wings for when he gets bored with the other things. ha!
Some of these decorations might look familiar. I totally re-used his 'Happy Birthday' and 'Asher' signs from last year. Hey - why not?
Asher was really great at opening gifts this year! He's a big fan of opening a present, then playing with it for awhile, then moving on to the next. Don't try to rush him - he wants to appreciate each gift as it comes. ha!
He also l-o-v-e-d opening his cards!
A happy day was had by all. :-)
Oooh, Eli has a Sit and Spin (a Christmas gift from last year) that has been sitting in our garage for a while (for several reasons... but partly because it was a big toy Eli didn't ever seem too interested in). Maybe we should bring it back in the house and have him build up some muscles!
ReplyDeleteAwww, it looks like he had a great party and I totally don't blame you for reusing the banners! They're too cute to only use once :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pics, as usual. :) Looks like the perfect birthday celebration! Ours will also be small!!!! What a fun train set!!! That's what we got B for his birthday as well!!!!
ReplyDeleteAww, it looks great!!! I think we'll be doing a smaller party next year, hopefully at our own home. Love A's train set and that table is awesome! Jack is getting a train set for Christmas. I can't wait. :)
