Asher couldn't wait to get in the pool. He's been looking longingly at our community pool a-l-l winter long so it was exciting for me to finally be able to let him in one! ha!
Hadley made her poolside debut with Grandma Linda, enjoying the warm sunshine and bare toes.
Miss Hadley did get suited up for a pool a couple times during the week. It was a bit chilly for her to get in the water, but she enjoyed the admiration that was thrown her way by everyone who passed by. Who can blame them? I mean, really.
Side note: you knows what's hard to do? Take a selfie with the big camera. H and I did our best.
Floating through life pretty much sums up our week. Asher had it down pat from day one.
Besides the pool, we spent a lot of time at the beach where Asher had a huge breakthrough this vacation - he put his toes in the ocean! Then he realized that it wasn't soooo bad, so he let his whole feet get wet. And his ankles! And his shins! {but stopped at the shins, because, well, brother ain't crazy}. We've been encouraging him for 3 years to splash in the ocean and he finally decided this was the time. Go, Asher, go!
So proud of our guy! But also a little terrified because now he takes off like a shot towards the water. Part of me liked him a little fearful - and safe. ha!
Asher and I would be good beach buddies. I'm great with shin deep, and that's all I really care to do, lol! Presley and my husband, on the other hand, would prefer to be in up to their necks. CRAZY! Miss H looks too cute in that bathing suit. So glad y'all had a great time.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, Asher! Ava, unfortunately, is in the latter camp, and LOVES the ocean. She just cannot get enough!! I, on the other hand, think it's beautiful, but prefer water I can see the bottom of!
ReplyDeleteCute little family! Love your blog!
