hitting the links

A few weeks ago Asher discovered his inner Senior citizen and found a love for golf.  Some of his love might be based on his early luck in putting.  Ever since we broke out his Fisher-Price golf set Asher asks me to golf with him daily.

When we were in Florida Ash was gifted a real set of golf clubs {they were still a little big for him, but crazy adorable} and he headed right out to the putting green to put in some practice.  When we got there imagine our surprise - and Asher's thrill - to see this guy on the green.

You just never know what you'll see in the Sunshine State, I guess.

After our turtle friend lumbered off towards the lake Asher got down to business.

Mostly he wanted to swing for the fences.

After a few attempts to drive with his putter Drew helped him get set with a grip and some control.

There was a lot of fun had - and a lot of shots made.

Meanwhile, I was hopelessly swooning over this toddler in plaid shorts and a golf club.  :-)
