january happenings: week one

Going back a few weeks to catch up on what we've been doing this month…

Asher started taking tennis lessons and has been doing great!  The class is really too big so we don't love that there's a lot of standing around and waiting for 5 year olds.  Hoping that next season we can get him into some semi-private lessons so there's more practice time.  Overall he does really well with the eye-hand coordination, though!

Hadley and I came to watch and cheer him on one morning.  She was a fan of the fan snacks.

We've had some really nice, warm days.  As a northern girl, going to the park in a sweatshirt in January is crazy talk.  This is fantastic!

My parents came over for dinner one Sunday and the next day Hadley asked for Pop-Pop every 15 minutes.  He sent her a sweet video from work to say hi.  We watched it a couple (dozen) times.  :-)

Little sisters to big brothers often have to make do with what they can find.  Spiderman shopping buddy?  Sure thing.

Snow monster shopping buddy?  No problem.

This little beggar needs to go to work for the Salvation Army next winter.  Their red buckets will overflow.  Who can say no to this face??

I've been working on some shirts for the kids for a special trip we have coming up.  Love this one.

Sunday sibling sweetness - say that 5 times fast.  ;-)
