hadley's last day of preschool

This morning Hadley had her last day of preschool for the year.  She was in the "Almost 3s" class this year for kids who would turn 3 before January 2016.  I loved this class option because it meant that every kid in her class was within a few months of being the same age.  With little kids being almost a year younger or older makes a big difference!

This was Hadley's first year of preschool and she rocked it.  Really.  She never had any separation anxiety, she made friends, and told me all about school every time I picked her up.  Hadley is a total extrovert and really independent, so being in class was right up her alley.

The last day of school her class did a little presentation where they showed all the parents how they can say the Pledge of Allegiance, then they sang a few songs.

Is there anything cuter than a class of 3 year olds singing and doing hand motions??  I don't think so either.  Adorable!

Afterwards they got their certificate of completion.  Hadley loved her teachers this year and they loved her!  I'm so grateful that she had such wonderful teachers for her first year of school.  Hadley is a sweetie, but her independent streak can lead her to think she knows best (aka - she doesn't obey) so H needs a certain kind of teacher to guide her well.  Mrs. Buda and Mrs. Rastelli did just that.

Hadley Fern, we are so proud of how hard you worked this year!  You went to "big school like Asher" and grew by leaps and bounds during the past 9 months.  We know you learned a lot, both academically and in how to be a good friend and work in a classroom.  Next year will be even more fun!  We love you Hadley!
