Cleveland Orchestra and Drew Carey

On Saturday night Drew and I had the chance to finally see the Cleveland orchestra! The orchestra really is as talented and impressive as we had always heard they are. The concert on Saturday was of pieces depicting the Music of Shakespeare. The special guest narrator was none other than The Price of Right's own Drew Carey! He was actually quite good and added a nice amount of comedy to the event. Unfortunately, flash photography wasn't permitted, so we didn't get any photos of him with the orchestra.

Drew spent Saturday morning playing soccer with his team from Booz & Co. at a charity event. They won the tournament and Drew got a sunburn to boot!

All in all, a great weekend. :o)

New Lamps!

After a year of searching, Drew and I finally found lamps to go in our living room. I'm glad we didn't settle earlier because these work perfectly in our room! It's nice to have subtle lighting at night, rather than the bold overhead lights all of the time. Another little thing in my life to get excited over!

Booz & Co. Summer Formal

Drew and I went to the Booz & Company summer formal last weekend. Drew called it his "work prom" -- the tux does give it that feeling. It was our first time at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, but we'll definitely be back! We had a wonderful time and look forward to next year!

Bathroom Finished!

Here are some photos of our finished bathroom. Unfortunately, I don't have any "before" pictures, so you can't get the true scope of the transformation. The finished product looks pretty good to me!

Visit from Emily Ostrom

I had a wonderful visit from Emily Ostrom this weekend. After "Fiesta Night" on Friday, we abandoned Drew and went shopping on Saturday. It's nice to have someone to shop with! I miss my friend, but am so glad she was able to come for a visit. :o)

Fourth of July

I had a great 4th of July weekend in Williamsport with Jenn, Chris, and Owen. We had a fun picnic at Jackie and Max's house at Pine Creek during the day and watched Chris drive fast that night. Following are some photos from the race track and of Owen in his go cart. Drew spent the weekend with Ryan, Anna, Andrew, and Erin in Pittsburgh -- I'm sorry to have missed them!
