Painting the Bathroom

We spent the weekend painting our bathroom. One year ago I chose a color for our new bathroom without actually being in the house. We bought the paint and brought it with us from Pittsburgh. Once it was on the walls I realized that it clashed horribly with both the tile and the countertop. We couldn't just throw it away and start over at the time, so I lived with it for a year. Having been sufficiently punished, we decided that it was time for a change. A day and a half of work + $40 later -- I can stand to be in my bathroom. The visual difference is striking! I'll post some photos when we get the room back together.

Wedding Anniversary

We are celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary today. I can't believe it's been 4 years since Drew and I got married. We've had a lot of fun adventures in that time!

went to Disney World, saw a lot of Japan, moved to Pittsburgh, moved to Cleveland, visited Italy, welcomed 2 new nephews to our family, celebrated New Year's in Mexico, got an MBA, and celebrated my sister, Erin's wedding!

Visit from the Cowell-Reist Family

We had a great weekend visiting with Faith, Kay, Chloe, and Jonah. Fortunately for us, Cleveland is halfway between Chicago and Lancaster. The rain in Cleveland didn't stop us from enjoying all of the Olympic trials on TV! Drew and I had a great time visiting with them and hope they'll come back for another visit soon! :o)

Welcome to our blog! This blog started as a way for our friends and family to keep up with our life. Currently Drew and I are living in Cleveland, Ohio. Drew is working for Booz & Company as a business consultant. Emily is working for Case Western Reserve University as a research assistant in a Pulmonary research lab.
